Meet the Founder

Kyle Assue

DVM, Certified Clinical Veterinary Sonographer

Kyle was born in Brooklyn and raised in Trinidad and Tobago. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of the West Indies and is currently completing certification through both the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates (ECFVG) and the National Examining Board (NEB).

Following graduation, Dr. Assue worked in general practice and internal medicine throughout Florida, where he developed a strong interest in diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive procedures. With over six years of experience in internal medicine, he has developed advanced proficiency in diagnostic ultrasound and image-guided procedures.

In 2022, Kyle completed advanced training at WAVE – We Are Veterinary Education and became certified in Small Animal Soft Tissue Ultrasound. He has continued to advance his training in echocardiography and cardiology through continuing education programs with the University of Cambridge and the Royal Veterinary College.

Dr. Avin Arjoonsingh

DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVIM (SAIM)

Board-Certified Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine

Dr. Arjoonsingh is a Board Certified Specialist in Small Animal Internal Medicine with special interest in mentorship, education, and consulting. He has an interest in all internal medicine cases, with special clinical focus on endocrinology and hematology.

He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of the West Indies and completed a rotating internship at Tuskegee University. Dr. Arjoonsingh then completed a residency and master's degree from Washington State University, after which he served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Florida.

At UF, he supervised multiple residents and interns, managed many complex cases, participated in referring veterinarian consultations, and contributed to the endocrinology and diabetes clinic at one of the largest veterinary teaching hospitals in the United States. He has also completed the ECFVG certificate from the AVMA.

Currently, Dr. Arjoonsingh is a lecturer of Internal Medicine at the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago, giving back to his country and alma mater. He collaborates with KA Ultrasound Services as an internal medicine consultant, providing expert teleconsultations and specialist interpretations.
